COMPANY PROFILEAHWI (UK) Ltd, was founded in 2000, by Paul Vidgen, following many years of contracting in Land Clearance and Forestry. Paul was the first forestry contractor in the UK to operate the AHWI tracked mulcher, and because he was so impressed with the machines performance, high standard build and capabilities, he became the sole UK dealer for this company. Paul's forestry and land clearing background gives AHWI (UK) a unique and un-rivaled ability to recommend the right equipment for the job, as well as manage any customers problems quickly, with minimal down time. Based in Ascot, Berkshire, with extensive workshops and storage facilities, AHWI (UK) ensure all of our customers get the best machines for the job with excellent back-up to support them. AHWI machines are manufactured by a company based in Southern Germany, using high quality components in a "state of the art" factory. Much use is made of advanced CAD design equipment, including material stress analysis. AHWI can provide special machines to customers individual requirements, such as Excavator mounted Mulchers & Stump grinders with Power Packs. We also supply top quality wear parts for our own and other manufacturers machines, and carry out maintenance works on Customers machines at our workshops in Berkshire. On site repairs can be carried out, if required, to minimise down time.
